
OTTAWA — Bank of Nova Scotia, CIBC and National Bank are the latest Canadian banks to lower fixed mortgage rates, matching the average 0.10 percentage point cut by Royal Bank of Canada and TD Canada Trust on Thursday. By late Friday afternoon, Bank of Montreal was the only major Canadian bank not to cut rates this week.
